Barry is the founding partner of Carlau consulting and was previously Managing Director PIMS Service, a private equity backed business, where he oversaw sustained growth in the Service business. Barry was an integral member of the senior management team which raised over £30M to acquire and then fund the on-going growth of the business. Barry, as a main board member, was directly involved with the development of the 5 year strategic business plan and responsible for the successful execution and delivery of the Services Business component of that plan.
Prior to PIMS, Barry was a key member at Californian high tech corporate, Ultratech Stepper, where he helped build a Worldwide Service division, with assignments in the UK, USA, South Africa, Middle and Far East.

Dave is the founder of Carlin Business Intelligence Ltd and was previously Implementation Manager & Business Analyst at PIMS Group, subsequently Xylem Inc. Dave has extensive experience in the
IT Industry working on a variety of software, acquiring detailed knowledge of various Accountancy & ERP systems. He also offers bespoke reporting services and BI reporting using Crystal Reports,
Qlikview, Qliksense & NPrinting.
Dave has provided many tactical and strategic analytical reports for SME’s such as South Coast Catering, VFE Engineering & Clearwater specialising in Service & Operational reporting.
Prior to PIMS, Dave was a key member within Checkpoint Systems (UK) Ltd, where he was part of the SAP implementation team. He also sourced and implemented 3rd party software, Service Director, for roll out across Europe.

Mike has more than 20 years’ experience as a finance director in businesses under private equity and corporate ownership. With experience in a wide range of businesses all undergoing substantial change, Mike is seen as an outstanding finance director who is utterly committed and creates a “will do” culture. Delivering value in developing new business streams and facilitating change.
Mike has implemented new finance and business systems in more 7 businesses ranging from small privately owned business to large multi site corporate business .Experience in long term contract negotiation and management in various industry sectors such as Service/Manufacturing, Hotel/Conf centres, Steel industry, Fruit distribution and Property development
Mike has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions having successfully completed in excess of 30 transactions with an enterprise value of more than £750m. In all cases the deals were delivered quicker than expected and at better than anticipated value. Mike has also refinanced a number of the businesses he has worked with and has strong relationships with all of the larger banks.
